I am trying to do what I can to go to Anthrocon this year as I figure the last time I go would be best when planned that way. No, last time doesn't mean FOREVER, it could mean a few years or whatever. I don't know what I will want to be doing in five years. Just keep in mind I am not a crazy congoer and I do not love everything about conventions, etc. It is me out of my element.
Anyway, I might be able to snag a table and if so I will do my best to get a hotel room for the week. I will post when I know for certain about all this. For now just another annoying heads up.

In other news, Layton's Curious Village is fun, Team Fortress 2 is still fun especially when my friends and I all punch the crap out of you as heavies while you spam your demo stickies. Also Brawl in a week; I hope I never run into you in online play and don't ask me for my friend ID shit. Brawl's gonna be a blast, i can't wait to see the midnight tourney at the game shop and watch people get really pissed at eachother.

  Stay well, seriously.
   ~cheers

I played brawl already. It's you're standard smash game. Granted the new powerups and Final smash attacks are cool. You'll be getting the same experience as Melee just more characters.

I figured, but I suppose I'm not that much of a die-hard SSBB fan. I just think it was hyped up wayy too much just for the same experience. Now TF2 THAT'S a phenomenal game.

i'm just not concerned with whether something is hyped up or not, I like things based on whether I enjoy them or not.

Well, I guess it's not something comfortable to go to a place where a bunch of rabid fans will stalk you for a week ^^; Still, It will be a pleasure to have the chance to meet you there, if I go too :3

I hope you make it up here, that'd be great. If you need a room, the double tree is probably your best bet right now. It's like... $167/ night or something and you can get a discount if you have AAA.

I've been to a few. Granted, I havn't had a table to sell, but for the $180 on the room, the $40 to get in, $20.00 for parking.. it ends up being more of a bust because all I really hit is the dealer room and artist alley, and I've been sorely disappointed at times. Even more if it's costing airfare. But, on the up side, if there are friends and you go out and do something with them, that you wouldn't see in a while, that is a good reason, if not the only reason to go. (Mine were anime cons, stale air, body odor, and no new stock D: not to mention the creepy people that larp !)

If your all looking to play against some of the japanese, it aint gonna be hard to find any to play with, of the 500,000 copies they had released in japan, over 90% was sold! 90% of 500,000!! and that was the first set of copies too>< expect to get plenty of japanese play time this go around.

What im really looking forward to is the new single player stories they've put into the game, from what i hear it vastly outdoes the crappy little single player mini games they had in melee, and this time with an actual cohesive story plot!! *well, as cohesive as a nintendo fighting game CAN be...Antagonists!! sweet!

btw, anybody seen the trailers for that Sega Tennis game?? Ow my heart...

Hell yeah, Brawl is gonna kick ass. The online battles will be awesome, but the bad part, don't know if it is true or not, is that you are only able to play online, in your area or somewhere local. Who knows that information can be wrong.

All the information you could possibly need to know about that stuff is on the Brawl site. [link]

According to here on the site: [link] , long distance battles are possible. Othe places of the sie ive more detaild info about this but still say USA players can battle Japan players.

Ah alright, but from what I heard it is said it will have great lag. I could be wrong, but hearing this from you, it's good to hear that the battles can be long distance.

Sadly, I can't look at the site since I'm at school at the moment, so it is restricted to go to the site, but I shall when I get out.

Well, a friend of mine has the Japanese version, I dun see how it takes so long for us to localize imports, just a little texture and dialogue changing is needed is all... then again.. the copying..

Doesn't worry me. Plenty of other things to do whilst they localize.
