Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Alright, the previous contest for fun seemed to garner enough interest to perform a second one. I will outline the very basic rules in a moment, but I must emphasize again that this is a contest for FUN. A chance to just try something new for FUN and not worry too much about winning or losing. Try something different in your entries maybe, use it as a chance to learn or better yourself at something, and most of all enjoy yourself. Without the stress of worry in regards to winning or losing it is a chance to do something, see what others have done, and have a good time without drama etc.
     OK. This time here is the deal: I will provide a few references for a few characters below. The idea is to choose one or more of those characters (minimum of one, you could use all if you really wanted to) and place them within an image based on the theme. The theme this time is a bit more malleable, though; choose one of your favourite songs and draw an image involving the character(s) you chose based on what the song makes you think of/feel. Include somewhere on the image the artist and song name also. upon entry if you wish to explain uipon posting what the song makes you think of relative to the image that is only helpful.
  it's a good chance to mix art and music, two things people both vary heavily in regards to taste, but also tend to enjoy. So choose character(s), choose song, use inspiration and make it your own.

   Whomever wants to participate will have a one month period to create and submit artwork for entry. Upon the one month mark myself and selected judges will peruse the entries to come up with a first, second, and third place winner. All entries will be showcased regardless of placement. This is not a Deviantart only contest.
I would encourage people to participate for FUN and perhaps as a chance to do something to try and improve your own artwork in some way, perhaps by trying something you have not before.

More than one entry can be submitted, so long as they are in by the deadline. That deadline is April 10th, 2007. Judgement will be made within a week afterwards, allowing time for us to gather entries and make proper judgement.

I like the fact that one of your characters is a goat (one of my favorite animals and foods), but I don't think I could imagine any of these guys in a scenario that emulates "Rapper's Delight" by the Sugar Hill Gang.

From your website, I see that most of your favorite bands/singers are of the heavy-metal/grudge/techno calibre, with their songs mostly from the 90's and recent years (this decade were living in sounds too silly to adress). I also notice a few 80's new-wave groups and 70's classic-rock stars. This is not a critique, just an observation.

Are you familiar with surf rock, british rock, motown, acid rock of the 60's or disco/funk from the 70's-early 80's? (the stuff you grew up to)

I'd love to see the speed of developments in the coming weeks. That includes me!
