Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

A mage's abilities are:supernatural strength,able to cast magic spells,able to survive for a long period of time.
Her staff/rod appears when shes battling with someone.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

A contest for Fun

Was tossing around ideas regarding contests and art. A lot of contests get skewed with prizes and such. Sometimes people just like doing things for fun..a few sites have been made for such things, but they tend to get messed up over time.
Well, regardless, I decided to set something simple up for FUN for those who want to do something for FUN and see what people come up with.
  Here is the deal: I will give a character and a theme, and whomever wants to participate will have a one month period to create and submit artwork for entry. Upon the one month mark, Myself and selected judges will peruse the entries to come up with a first, second, and third place winner. These winners will have their entries featured here as well as their home galleries. This is not a Deviantart only contest.
  I would encourage people to participate for FUN and perhaps as a chance to do something to try and improve your own artwork in some way, perhaps by trying something you have not before.

The THEME is 'transportation'. This means the theme of the illustration and background must be an interpretation of 'transportation' of some sort, but that interpretation of it is up to you, so long as it works. No pornography for this

More than one entry can be submitted, so long as they are in by the deadline. That deadline is February 18th, 2007. Judgement will be made within a week afterwards, allowing time for us to gather entries and make proper judgement.

I encourage you to make an entry and have fun with it. It is a chance to jsut have fun with a competition that can remain friendly.
If this goes well and garners suitable entries, it may evolve into something else.

Completed entries can be linked in a note to me here, or you can email me at axer_industries@hotmail.com. If you email an entry, please do NOT send files over 500k as ttachments. If they are of that size or larger please load them to a server and send me the link to the image(s).
