This is another one from a bit back, Shen Yuan the Eastern dragon. Windy and stylized via designs on the back and integration with the bg, I dig it. I wish I had moved his eye forward more, though.
This was pencil and ink on bristol, and it killed my hand manually inking all those little bits on his back and keeping the white spaces in between.

Wow...nice detail. It would be nice if you could color this ~_^ It’s a little hard for me to tell what’s his body and what’s the background in some places.

O_o how long did it take you to ink all those little spots? O_o
Anyways, its incredible. There definitely should be some sort of award for this kind of stuff.
