Ugh, this is an old one. An initial design for a leaning library featured in a script. I plan to recycle this and redraw it based off the same idea, but update it for the script's present incarnation...and because this one is an old picture anyway. It was done with pencil andi nk on cheap 8.5x11 typing paper.

Is it only me or does the wood look way off?

That's the idea. The entire thing is supposed to be completely wonky. it leans in all directions, and is crooked from every connection.

It goes like this: the fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
The baffled king composed the Hallelujah!

i've always wondered if the detail you put into pictures destroys you brain and/or your hands. isn't it difficult to then draw them from other angle (like for a comic?) or do oyu just... scream and cry and do it anyways?

i can't imagine that this is really on 8.5x11....that's so small for so much detial! my god ; ; you're not human

Old or not, that is still amazingly detailed! Great job!

Geez...awesome detail in the picture :)

Where did you find the determination to do such precise stuff... at first I was only looking at the top part and that was enough detail in the wood and books. But as I scroll to the bottom I notice that you still manage to seperate each book apart (or give that idea) in the shelves...

That must've been some pencil ;)
